
Azeri women hail Hijab as a value Baku, 2007/04/05, IRIB
Azerbaijani veiled women on Thursday held a ceremony in which they honoured the "Unity Week" and the auspicious birthday of the Noblest Messenger of Allah, Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) in the Sureh Khani region, near Baku.
During the ceremony the lecturers highlighted the preserving of Islamic high values, specially Islamic Hijab.
The veiled women who gave lectures during the ceremony, described Hijab as an exalted gift granted by God to the humans.
The revered Messenger of Islam, Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) has bestowed this divine gift to the Muslim women to save their human values, they added.
