Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said here on Thursday that faith, resolve, and jihad are the three prerequisites for the materialization of any goal or ideal. In a message to the 7th annual meeting of independent university students Islamic associations, the Supreme Leader called the three points Islam's eternal lessons, which once elevated Muslims to the zenith of history and that today will serve to free them from captivity.
There is no doubt that the youth are extremely capable in regard to these three points, he noted.
A community which places justice, spirituality, and dignity at the top of its agenda is obliged to be faithful and determined and to engage in jihad, he added.
This is the same eternal lesson Islam provides to its followers and all of humanity, he said.
Elsewhere in his message, the Supreme Leader called on students to trust divine promises, which he said are materialized in the era of the vigilance of nations.
Ayatollah Khamenei also told students to value their potential and to make optimal use of their capabilities in scholarly arenas, adding, "The future belongs to you."
