 Baby sitter kills baby in US

A baby sitter who beat a 9-month-old girl to death was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison Friday, despite a plea for mercy from the baby's mother.
Sunyhe Choi, 32, of Irvine, California, was convicted in October of second-degree murder and assault.
Prosecutors said Choi was watching Nicole Jeong in August 2005 when she became angry and struck the girl several times in the head, killing her.
