Washington, 2008 Jan 7, IRIB The US daily, Washington Post has made a thorough analysis of US president, George W. Bush's misleading policies in the region, writing, George W. Bush still continues to tell lies to the US public and the world despite the recent National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) report admitting to the peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program.
The author of the article, George McGovern who was one of the former US senators, continues to analyze the former US president, Richard Nixon and President Bush's policies and approaches adding following the 1972 US presidential elections, he joined calls for trying Richard Nixon since Nixon was not a good president but George Bush and Vice president, Dick Cheney are even worse than him.
McGovern reiterates President Bush and Dick Cheney are responsible for the loss of over 600,000 civilian lives in Iraq due to their obstructionism, violating international rules and invading Iraq and they should be brought to justice.
The Iraq war which according to the Washington Post is costing US$250 million daily and is expected to hit one trillion dollars are only part of president Bush's policies and this policy has inflicted heavy burdens on the US economy and people's lives.
The fact of the matter is that President Bush's warmongering policies in the region are part of an unbridled approach ruling over a wide spectrum of US warmongers.
Although it is being formed upon pretentious issues including war on terror and establishment of democracy, this policy follows a unique purpose in principle and that is the US government's domination over the Middle East region.
Al-Qaeda is the fruit of the US government's interventionist policies in Iraq and Afghanistan and the US version of democracy is also demagoguery.
With regard to Iran's peaceful nuclear case about which the US is seeking excuses to create crisis and tensions in the region has surfaced more US lies in a way that the US intelligence community has also acknowledged President Bush's lies.
These realities all come to show that the international community want President Bush and his administration to be brought to justice because of their countless atrocities and disasters is Iraq, Afghanistan, Guantanamo bay and Abu Ghraib prisons for which they are responsible and there will be the day when the White house officials should be held accountable for what they have committed.
