
British sailors broke into euphoria
Tehran, 2007/04/04, IRIB The 15 British sailors who were watching President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's press conference Wednesday broke into euphoria after knwoing they had been pardoned by the Iranian people and would be released soon.
The conference was directly interpreted into English for the British sailors.

The British sailors who were gazing at the screen shouted in joy after they heard the President saying the Iranian nation had pardoned them out of grandure and magnanimity.
According to the IRIB journalist present at the location where the sailors were kept, Faye Turney, the sole female British sailor broke into tears after hearing the President was regretting that a British mother was dispatched to the battlefield.
The British sailors expressed gratitude to the Iranian nation for the affectionate treatment.
Freedom of marines a gift to Britons
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that Tehran is to free 15 arrested UK marines as a gift to the people of Britain.
The amnesty was granted on the auspicious occasion of birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) and the Christian Easter festivity.
Powerful Iran despite its right to try the military servicemen has pardoned them as a gift to the British people, said the President. "I do advise UK Premier Tony Blair not to prosecute the servicemen on charges of telling truth and realities," he said .
"I do advise Tony Blair to administer justice and promote peace and ethics and serve the British people instead of proliferating nuclear weapons," he said.
