Larijani: IRI inviting to talks Tehran, 2007/04/09, IRIB Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani declared on Monday that today the Islamic Republic of Iran has full access to nuclear technology.
Larijani said that Iran is prepared to hold talks on the issue based on distinct principles to reach understanding.
He was addressing European states and America during his speech to a gathering of clergies and scholars at Navvab Theological School.
"You cannot add any note to the rights of our nation and seek to convince us to give up our rights under the pretext of holding talks," he added. Larijani said that if they believe that they can make us give up our rights and have us cornered, we can also cause bottlenecks for them.
"Iran's nuclear issue is not the basic problem. We have witnessed over the past 27 years that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been facing various challenges.
They are mainly concerned about Iran's decisive role in the Middle East, its significant geopolitical position, highly skilled manpower and rich natural resources, which are tools of power," he added. Nuclear-Iran-Larijani |
