The Azadi Square in western Tehran will resound with the symphony, representing the nation’s peaceful nuclear program, on Feb. 11 to mark the 28th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Composed by veteran Iranian maestro Kambiz Roshanravan, the symphony “Nuclear Energy” will be performed by the 100-strong symphonic orchestra of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, deputy culture minister for art affairs said on Thursday.

The performance has been organized in line with the programs being planned by the commemoration committee of the Ten-Day Dawn as of Jan. 31, Mohammad-Hossein Imani-Khoshkhu added.

The official announced that the committee is also busy with setting up the first Fajr International Poetry Festival in the capital and other major cities of Mashhad, Isfahan, and Shiraz.

The third Ashura Rituals Conference is another that is held concurrent with the Ten-Day Dawn to mark Muharram -- the first month of the Islamic calendar, in which Imam Hussein (a.s.) and his companions were martyred.

According to Imani-Khushkhu, the committee will hold calligraphy exhibitions on the themes of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.a.), Islamic Revolution, and Ashura and is to organize some stage and street plays in other Iranian provinces.
