Foreign Ministry Spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini on Tuesday strongly condemned the illegal decision of the Zionist regime to construct new settlements in the West Bank and holy Qods, terming the move as being against international law.

According to the Information and Press Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hosseini warned the Zionist regime against the consequences of such a move and held the regime as well as America responsible for exacerbation of the crisis and tension in the region.

"The new efforts of the Zionist regime run counter to the so called mottos of the war mongering regime and indicate that its leaders only seek more domination and expansion of occupied territories," Hosseini said.

Hosseini called on the Islamic and international organizations to seriously deal with the new efforts of the Zionists and prevent their tyrannical and impudent measures.
