
President Ahmadinejad: No power can forge dominance over Iranians
Tehran, Feb 4, IRNA President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here on Monday that no power can forge domination over the will of the Iranian nation.
He made the remarks in a ceremony to inaugurate Iran's first space terminal for launching satellite.
All the achievements of the Iranian people are resulted from their self-belief, he said.
With self-reliance, a nation can conquer all summits of science and technology, the president added.
Today's experiences of the Iranian nation belongs to all world nations, he added.
Iran's scientific achievements and the country's success in different areas are indebted to the truthful nature of the Islamic Revolution, he said.
Referring to valuable achievements of the Iranian youth in the past three decades after the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the president said victory of the Islamic Revolution motivated the Iranian youth and experts to utilize their potentials.
He urged the people to make ultimate use of all the existing scientific potentials and capabilities to achieve the zenith of progress and development.
Iran's first space terminal was inaugurated this morning in presence of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
The country's first space terminal comprises of Omid satellite, Iran's first homemade developed research satellite which has been designed and constructed by the Iranian experts.
The Omid satellite will be launched in the near future.
Iran's space terminal has been designed to send the Islamic Republic's first homemade research satellite into orbit in the near future.
During the ceremony, President Ahmadinejad inspected different sections of the terminal.
The ceremony was attended by several ministers and a number of senior officials.
