
Iran's 26th National Students Quran Competition opens in Mashhad

The 26th National Quran Competitions for Students has kicked off in Mashhad, Khorasan Razavi province, on Sunday August 3 morning.
Mosayybzadeh, expert in charge of Quran and Nahj-ol-Balaqa Affairs in Tehran Education Organization, made the remark in an exclusive interview with IQNA, adding that the 26th National Quran Competitions for Students is scheduled to be held in Mazandaran Camp in Khorasan Razavi province on August 3-13.
Pointing to the fact that the Quranic competitions are to be held in two stages separately for boys and girls, he added that boys' competition will be held from Sunday afternoon to next Saturday, in which top Quranic students from each Iran's provinces will contest.
The national Quran competitions for girls will also be held in Mazandaran Camp on August 9-13, the expert said.
He also went on to say that the competition will be held featuring four fields including recitation, memorization and interpretation of the holy Quran as well as Nahj-ol-Balaqa, which is expected to be participated by 1,100 female and male students.
