 USQAO to sponsor Quranic theses

The University Students' Quranic Activities Organization (USQAO) will inclusively support top theses of university students featuring up-to-date Quranic and scientific attitudes.
Hojatoleslam Seyed Mahdi Taghavi, USQAO Expert, in an interview with IQNA said that the holy Quran has been the most important criterion and source of research for Muslim and non-Muslim scholars throughout the history of Islam in line with the realization of the Islamic Republic of Iran's religious and national objectives as well as promotion and encouragement of the scientists.
He further made the remark that creating a close relationship between different scientific branches of the holy Quran and deepening the lofty tenets of the holy book at universities and seminaries through promoting the Quranic research among students are the main objectives of the organization.
Referring to the Islamic philosophy as shining science of the holy Quran, he added that in recent years, the enhancement of cultural and scientific relations between Islam and West has turned Quranic look at modern sciences into a concern for most religious scholars all across the world.
