Unity, key to Lebanese victory

Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Saeed Jalili said on Tuesday that unity and national support for resistance is the key to successive victories of the Lebanese people.
Jalili made the remark in a meeting with Lebanese Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh which was held on the sidelines of the 15th NAM foreign ministerial meeting which opened this morning.
Referring to series of great victories of the Lebanese people in recent months, he said the success of Iran and Lebanon is now regarded as a remarkable triumph for NAM.
"Successive victories in Lebanon is a pride for all Muslims as well as Arab world," he said.
Jalili advised the Lebanese political wings and ethnic groups to exercise unity.
The Lebanese Foreign Minister, for his part, briefed Jalili on the latest political developments in Lebanon and said the victories of the Lebanese nation belongs to all who spare no efforts for the country's resistance and independence. Lebanon is in good conditions right now and has successfully tolerated all pressures exerted by aliens, he said.
The Lebanese Foreign Minister voiced support for Iran's legitimate rights to make use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and expressed satisfaction with the trend of talks between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the EU on the issue.
