Tehran, 2007 Oct 8, IRIB The Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei has emphasized on alertness of the Islamic Ummah against the foes' conspiracies and plots.
Receiving Islamic Republic of Iran's President Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the Cabinet members on Sunday, the Supreme Leader reiterated one should not be scared of the enemies but should also never underestimate the foes, because wisdom and prudence call for cautiousness against enemy's attacks in different economic, cultural and social realms.
Referring to the advice of First Infallible Imam of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) Household, Imam Ali (a.s.) regarding growth of ethical kindnesses in the community, the Supreme Leader reminded that ethical kindnesses are not just limited to good ethics but also include appropriate characteristics such as patience, forgiveness, gratitude, kindness, truthfulness and commitment toward people, compassion and mercy toward subordinates, courageousness and resistance toward deviations from ethical kindnesses, which should develop and grow among people, especially the officials.
The Supreme Leader also considered the ever-increasing tendency and inclination of the community, especially youths, toward Islamic values and morality, twenty-eight years after the victory of Islamic Revolution as a revolutionary miracle and an irrefutable fact.
In this meeting, President Ahmadinejad referred to people, especially youths, elevated spirits and ever-increasing morality, while considering the Iranian nation as a role model for nations across the globe.
President Ahmadinejad also presented a report on the government's efforts in the cultural field. At the end of the meeting, Ayatollah Khamenei led a congregation of dusk prayers and then the members of the Administration broke their fast alongside him.
