America is doing its best to create rift among Islamic states in order to obstruct Islamic solidarity in the region, the Iran's Defense Minister said addressing the Islamic Republic's military attaches abroad on Tuesday.
Brigadier General Mostafa Mohammad Najar said that America has mobilized all its resources as well as its political, security, economic and advertising capabilities to materialize the strategy.
He added that American intervention in Iraq, apart from imposing heavy costs on the American people, achieved nothing for the regime but caused it to lose domestic and local public support.
Mohammad Najar pointed to the important role of military attaches developing defense cooperation between Iran and other states and stressed the need for further efforts in that respect.
The Defense Minister added that Iran's defense policy is based on cooperation, security-building, detente, expansion of defense ties and establishment of peace and stability in the region and the world.
He also admired efforts by military attaches to improve Iran's defense policy in the world. |
