
Iranians, foreign guests commemorate Imam Khomeini

Large numbers of people from different walks of life have since early Tuesday gathered at Imam Khomeini's mausoleum to mark the occasion of demise anniversary of the late Imam.
Even 19 years after his departure, the Imam's guidelines are still showing the real path to the Iranian nation and government as well as to the world oppressed.
Hundreds of foreign honorable guests are among the mourners who gathered at Imam Khomeini's mausoleum since early morning.
A large number of foreign and domestic reporters and cameramen are covering the event.
The lovers of Imam Khomeini who have come from four corners of Iran, some on foot, all are dressed in black.
All the highways and streets leading to the mausoleum, near Tehran's Behesht-e Zahra cemetery, are jammed with cars and packed with people who want to get to the mausoleum.
Black flags and banners are hanged from public buildings.
