Ayatollah Kashani: IRI well prepared to tread path to progress

Tehran’s Interim Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Muhammad Emami Kashani said scientific capabilities should be used to bar the enemies of Islam and the Islamic system from penetrating into the Islamic Ummah.
Making the remark while addressing thousands of worshippers gathered in Tehran University Campus for the weekly Friday prayers ceremonies, Ayatollah Kashani referred to development of nuclear technology as well as numerous other scientific achievements as other factors contributing in the grandeur of Iranian nation and stressed the Islamic Iran in the present juncture was well prepared to tread in the path of development and advancement.
He further said the 40-million-strong presence of Iranian citizens in the recent presidential elections reaffirmed the dignity and power of the nation.
Ayatollah Kashani said all should be cautious not to let enemies question the sacred event, noting that the participation of people in the elections was so strong that many politicians in the world had to confess to the grandeur of the event.
Touching upon the issue of Hajj pilgrimage, he stressed the need for Muslims to maintain their solidarity and said Islamic nations should be aware of the plots by enemies to sow discord among them.
