 NIE report, "final blow" on all ill-wishers: Ahmadinejad

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here on Wednesday said the US intelligence report on peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear activities was the "final blow" on all ill-wishers of the Iranian nation.
Addressing a large group of local people of this western provincial capital city, he added, "The report proved legitimacy of the Iranian nation to the enemies."
The US National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) on Monday said in a report that Iran halted an atomic weapons program in 2003, contradicting the Bush administration's charge that Tehran was actively seeking nuclear weapons.
The report demonstrated the Iranian nation's victory in the nuclear field over all international powers, the president said.
"The report said clearly that the Iranian people were on the right course," Ahmadinejad said.
"Today, Iran has turned to a nuclear country and all world countries have accepted this fact," he noted.
