Supreme Leader: Islamic awareness, greatest fear of arrogant powers

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, today emphasized that the arrogant and hegemonic powers fear Islamic awareness as a danger to their illegitimate interests and oppressive domineering policies over the Islamic world.
In his message on the occasion of the annual Hajj pilgrimage, read to the pilgrims in the plain of Arafaat near Makkah on the occasion of the "disavowal of disbelievers" rally, he pointed to the enemies' all-out efforts to sow seeds of discord and sedition among Muslims, saying in all those bitter incidents taking place in Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, Pakistan and Afghanistan, one can clearly observe signs of the enemy's conspiracies against the world of Islam.
The Supreme Leader said the label of 'pro-Iran' or 'Shi'ite' used by the enemies of Islam to describe last year's strategic victory of Lebanon's legendary anti-terrorist movement, the Hezbollah, over the Zionist entity in the 33-day war, the establishment of Iraq's popularly elected parliament and government, the resistance of the legal government of Palestine, and many Islamic revivalist events in Muslim states, is intended to make a dent in the unanimous support of the Islam world.
He called for establishment of a strong, united front and convergence against the Global Arrogance as the only way to confront the conspiracies of enemies, and emphasized all Muslim peoples, ulema and scholars should knit ranks against the aggressions of the enemy.
