The fifth International Conference on Mosques is to kick off in Tehran on Monday, manager of public relations of the Center for Mosques' Affairs Mohammad Zangooei announced on Sunday.
Prominent religious figures from 44 countries are to attend the conference.
Speaking to IRNA, he said a number of prominent intellectuals and politicians will deliver speeches in the three-day conference.
Some 180 articles have been submitted to the secretariat of the conference and will be put at disposal of the participants, he said.
The international conference will promote exchange of views and experiences among intellectuals in Islamic countries.
