IRNA managing director visits Spanish news agency

IRNA Managing Director Jalal Fayyazi, who is currently in Spain to attend the second International News Agencies Congress, paid a visit to Spain's official news agency (EFE) headquarter here on Monday.
During the visit, Fayyazi expressed interest to use EFE's experiences in the fields of producing and disseminating news, pictures and films.
Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) managing director and Head of EFE Alex Girjelmo recently signed an agreement on a new round of cooperation in the city of Estepona, location of holding the 2nd congress, last Wednesday.

The 2nd International News Agencies Congress was held in Estepona for 3 days and officials and representatives from around 100 news agencies attended the congress which discussed issues like security for journalists, and covering major international events.
