41 killed due to house collapse caused by heavy rain

At least 41 people were killed and over a hundred injured in house collapse and drowning due to heavy rain in parts of Uttar Pradesh.
According to reports, several houses collapsed in these districts due to the heavy rains which have lashed the state since Saturday night.
Eighteen people were killed in Fatehpur, seven persons in Bahraich, five persons were killed in Raebareli, four in Hardoi and one each in Etawah, Gonda, Deoria, Unnao, Sitapur, Lakhimpur and Auraiya districts, reports reaching Lucknow said.
The injured have been admitted to hospital.
