Culture-Minister-Comment
Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Ahmad Masjed-Jamei said here on Saturday that despite various religions, cultures, languages, ways of life as well as biodiversity, Iranians pursue a united attitude and feeling.
Speaking among MPs of religious minorities, he said people of all walks of life with different languages and religions, when faced with a crisis, have cooperated in weathering it.
Masjed-Jamei added that Iran is home to the largest or second largest religion worldwide, adding most prophets and religious thinkers have been settled in Iran.
He pointed out that Iran had always been place to wisdom adding "history has witnessed that Iranians have had the least confrontations in the area of culture."
He further concluded that the respect to all minorities emanates from Iranians' knowledge-oriented attitude towards religions.
