Three people were killed and 13 injured in a bomb attack Thursday in the city of Van, in Turkey's mainly Kurdish east, local security sources said.
They said the casualties occurred when an explosive device was hurled at a municipal police vehicle parked in front of a sports centre near the governor's office.
It was not immediately clear who was behind the attack.
