
Tokyo, 2008 Mar 11, IRIB The dollar was under pressure against the yen in Asian trade Tuesday due to America recession fears as a stream of bad news from the credit market weighed down on risk appetite, dealers said.
The dollar slipped to 101.60 yen in Tokyo morning trade from 101.73 late Monday in New York.
It slipped to 101.42 yen in earlier trade, coming close to its eight-year low of 101.40 reached Friday in New York.
The euro was stable at 1.5341 dollars from 1.5345 but eased to 155.86 yen from 156.11.
