A member of the Palestinian Legislative Council, affiliated to the serving Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, underlined that the movement has no fear from the elections.
Asked why the serving government opposes to early elections, Marvan Abu Ra'as said "the matter we fear from is that to hold early elections, is to start to play with the fate of the Palestinian people".
"If the early elections' results were not in favour of Mahmoud Abbas, then what should have we do," he asked.
"Against all of the difficulties of siege and sanctions, we haven't fled from fulfilling our responsibility. We have continued to resolve the problems of the Palestinian people," underlined the lawmaker.
"Mahmoud Abbas has criticized the attempts of the officials of Hamas-led government to transfer money inside Palestine from abroad and has called the officials as traffickers, but the real traffickers are those who transfer the properties of the Palestinian people to their accounts in Jewish banks in Switzerland, Britain and America," he added.
The representative of the Palestinian Legislative Council strongly rejected the accusation of taking orders from the Islamic Republic of Iran or the Syrian Arab Republic, levelled by the Fatah Movement.
"We don't act upon the orders of anybody".
"Those who work under the obvious order of the Zionist regime and America and collaborate with the Zionists are clearly known," he said.
"Prior to this, the matters were hidden but now they obviously say that they (PA officials) can't sign any deal without the agreement of America and the QUARTET," he added.
Accepting the advice of the QUARTET means to quit the Palestine, Qods, resistance and to ignore the right of return of the refugees to Palestine.
Earlier, Palestinian Foreign Minister, Mahmoud Zahar told CNN Sunday described Mahmoud Abbas's call for early polls as objection to the Palestinian will.
He said holding early elections needs resignation of the President and dissolution of Palestine's Parliament which generally is not a proper way for establishment of democracy.
The Palestinian FM disclosed that Fatah movement is after a government which exerts the Zionist regime's will without heeding Palestinians' demands.
Unfortunately, Abbas hides realities while the people know who are behind the insecurities, killing the children and assassination attempts.
Meanwhile, Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniya on Sunday rejected President Mahmud Abbas's call for early elections as unconstitutional.
"The government rejects the call for legislative elections as they are unconstitutional and create confusion," he said during a cabinet meeting in Gaza.
Haniya called on Abbas to give orders to his presidential guard not to target citizens during the tensions.
Fatah politburo leader Faruq Kaddumi who is in exile in Tunis and members of other Palestinian groups on Saturday voiced their opposition to the Abbas plan which they termed illegal.
Call for early election by Mahmoud Abbas caused conflict in Gaza in which at least one Palestinian was killed and several others wounded.
