Palestinian students stranded in Gaza

Human rights groups say 670 Palestinian students have become trapped in Gaza since the Israeli regime halted travel in and out of the region.

More than 30 of the students are enrolled at US universities, but many have now lost their places not having been able to exit Gaza in time.

The small trickle of people with foreign citizenship or visas who had been allowed to leave has been halted altogether. Several students have appealed to the regime's Supreme Court to change Israeli policy and allow them to leave.
