A spokesman for the Gaza-based Palestinian government on Monday held responsible the Zionist regime for the rise of violence in the Middle East.

In an exclusive interview with Al-Jazeera TV, Ismail Rezvan said that the Zionist regime's decision to restart sending fuel to the Gaza Strip is a minor act compared to the whole siege laid on the Palestinian people by the Zionist regime and will not solve the problems caused by the siege.

Rezvan reiterated resistance against the occupiers is a legitimate right of the Palestinian people because the Zionists are targetting Palestinians with tanks and planes.

Ismail Rezvan added that the problem doesn't lay in missile attacks by Palestinians but the main problem is rather related to the enemy Zionist regime's crimes and attacks.

"Thus the missile attacks by Palestinian fighters is a natural reaction to the Zionist regime's attrocities and the enemy Zionist regime is responsible for the rise of violence in the region," Rezvan said.
