Two bombs were exploded in path of the Zionist regime's forces in northern Gaza Strip town of Beit Hanoun, Qods Brigades' military branch of Palestinian Islamic Jihad- announced on Saturday.
After chasing the covert Zionist military forces near the colonial wall between Beit-Hanun and the Occupied Palestine, members of Qods Brigades successfully detonated two 30-KG bombs on their routes.
The Palestinian combatants then returned to their bases safe and sound.
Qods Brigades said that the retaliatory operation was carried out successfully and the aimed targets were hit.
"Attacks against 'Israeli' soldiers and the firing of hand-made missiles at the Zionist settled towns (of the 1948 Occupied Palestine) is being carried out in retaliation for the ongoing crimes of the (Zionist) regime against innocent Palestinians in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip," Qods Brigades said in a statement.
Qods Brigades had on Friday warned the Zionist regime against its extensive attacks on the Gaza Strip, saying "The 'Israeli' military must think a hundred times before any operation against Palestinians."
Qods Brigades spokesman, Abu Ahmad said that the Zionist regime was confused because it threatened to attack Gaza but never fulfilled the threats.
"The Zionist regime had earlier threatened to carry out military operations against the Palestinian resistance, but Qods Brigades, in defence of Palestinian people will respond to the Zionists' crimes and will increase its missile attacks on the Zionist settled towns," he added.
Meanwhile Naser Salaheddin Brigades, the military branch of Popular Resistance Committees, claimed responsibility of strikes on the Zionist regime's Zikim military base north of the Gaza Strip during which 69 Zionist soldiers were killed.
