G-8 to Israel: Freeze settlements

The leaders of the world's industrialized nations, meeting at the G-8 summit in northern Japan have called upon Israel to “freeze all settlement activity".
An Israeli commission has approved the building of 920 new homes in occupied east Al-Qods, the municipality said on Wednesday.
Zionist regime occupied and annexed the eastern half of the city after the 1967 war.
