Six Palestinians were martyred in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday as the Zionist regime's army carried out its latest brutal incursion into the territory, sources said.
In an attack that began early on Tuesday and continued until the evening, the Zionist regime's tanks backed by helicopters rolled into Gaza near the southern town of Khan Yunis, witnesses and the army said.
A Palestinian, 24-year-old Mohammed Abu Musameh, was martyred in an early morning air strike.
Later another Palestinian, Omar al-Qarrah, was martyred along with his mother, Sabha, when their house was fired on, medics said.
Another civilian, 40-year-old Ibrahim al-Shami, was also martyred as a result of the Zionist attacks, medics said.
Early in the evening, medics recovered the bodies of two other Palestinians, Ahmed al-Qawa, 25, and Mussab abu Jiama, 27 medics said.
The two were martyred in strikes earlier in the day, they said.
Over all 28 people were wounded as a result of the brutal attack on the Gaza Strip, medics said.
