Hamas warns against regional instability

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas political bureau Chief, Khaled Meshaal has warned of an explosion of regional instability from the international siege imposed on Palestine, a report said Wednesday.

Khaled Meshaal told the Guardian newspaper that 'the Palestinians were steadfast and right and warned of an explosion that will be in the face of the Zionists' occupation.'

"The siege is collective punishment, and a crime," he was quoted as saying.

"Now the international community is trying to undermine Hamas. That will lead to an explosion that will be in the face of the 'Israeli' occupation. The damage will affect the stability of the entire region."

Mashal blamed "negative foreign intervention, especially by America and 'Israel'" for clashes Hamas and Fatah.
