
Five US occupation troopers killed in Iraq

The US army has reported the death of five more US occupation troopers in Iraq.
According to German news agency, US army issued a statement, Friday, announcing that three American troopers have been killed following the detonation of a roadside mine, next to a US army patrol unit in Kirkuk, northern Iraq.
According to this statement, another US trooper, who was wounded in clashes with Iraqi combatants in Diale Province, also succumbed to his severe injuries.
The 5th American trooper was killed in a car accident in Salaheddin Province, northeast of Baghdad.
According to Pentagon’s announcement, at least 3,519 US occupation troopers have been killed in Iraq since the invasion of Iraq on March 2003.
Meanwhile, independent sources put the death toll among US occupation forces, stationed in Iraq, at more than 13,000.
