Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Secretary-General of Lebanon's legendry anti-terrorist movement, the Hezbollah, called on the the Iraqi people not to allow their government to sign the so-called 'security accord' with the US.
According to Press TV, Nasrallah strongly denounced such a totally one-way accord between the US and Iraq and called on all Iraqi political and religious figures to prevent their country from falling in the hands of the occupiers.
He made the remarks in a speech on Monday which marked the liberation of southern Lebanon in 2000 from Zionist occupation.
He added: "Americans, under the name of democracy are imposing a capitulation deal on the Iraqi government in order to take control of the country's security and political affairs as well as its oil and other resources,"
Nasrallah stated that the Iraqis face a test: "to stand by those who support resistance in Iraq or to hand over Iraq to the US forever."
