The president said, addressing Iranians in the African capital, "The Iranian nation strives to establish a system in the name of Islam and based on Islamic values, despite those who claim to be followers of Islam but resort to violence and oppression to impose their demands and provide pretext to the enemies to attack Islam".

The Iranian official noted the Iranian nation makes efforts to extract democracy from the text of their religion and provide it to Iran and the world in accordance with Islam. He added this is the dignity of Iran’s yesterday, today and tomorrow.
