Tens of thousands of Hajj pilgrims took part in a ritual to cry out their 'disavowal of pagans' in Arafat desert Wednesday morning 19 Jan.
All pilgrims gathered in the desert of Arafat, 20 kilometres (12
miles) from Makkah, for a day of prayer and meditation.
Pilgrims chanted slogans in Arafat while flags bearing
"God is the greatest", "There is no god but Allah", "Death to the US" and "Death to Israel" have been put up at the site.
They also shouted 'death to America' and 'death to Israel' to
voice their hatred of the US and Zionist crimes in the occupied Palestine.
Head of Iranian pilgrims Hojatoleslam Mohammad Mohammadi Reyshahri addressed the crowd and read the message of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to the participating pilgrims.
The faithful men and women all in white as a symbol of equality
converged on Arafat by bus and on foot from different tent cities set
up to accommodate pilgrims.
