Iranian young inventors, winning 43 world medals in the 33rd international exhibition of inventions held in Geneva, held a meeting in Tehran with the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei Tuesday 19 April.
Pointing to the cruelties made to the Iranian nation in the course of history, the Supreme Leader stressed that the victory of the Islamic Revolution had prepared grounds for the youth to bloom their talents.
"We should increase national self-confidence and avoid pessimism," the Supreme Leader underlined.
He described thoughts which underpin the concept of inability on the part of the Iranian nation as lethal poison which blockades the road to progress.
Ayatollah Khamenei added that "the Iranian youth are at the very beginning of their scientific progress, hence their duty to mount their efforts towards scientific glories with both firm faith and state-of-the-art knowledge".
He stressed that the Iranian nation owes those martyred for its scientific achievements of the kind.
He urged the audience to keep tribute to self-sacrificing people for good.
