Egyptian journalist launches an onslaught on Arab leaders, after the March convention set up to close Palestinian standoff in Algiers ended up in stalemate.
Arab nations fully acknowledge the inability of their leaders in resolving the challenges, Dr. Abdul-Halim Ghandil, an Egyptian journalist told IRIB in a phone interview Friday 25 March.
"I don’t think any body had expectations from the summit, because all Arab people are aware of their leader's incapability", the journalist said.
Arab leaders wrapped up a two-day conference in Algerian capital, formed to discuss Palestinian rights of building a state and the return of Arab lands occupied by Israel in return for reactivating peace plan with Tel Aviv.
Ghandil blasted Arab leaders, describing them as "dead bodies" who have done nothing but formalities.
What has been outlined as peace initiative with Israel was indeed a repetition of a plan formerly laid out in Beirut, he said.
Israeli Zionist regime had rejected peace plan set forth by the Arab leaders released in a communiqué.
Ghandil has waged more attack on the summit by basically questioning the proposal.
Most Arab countries have enhanced diplomatic and trade ties with Israel, before Israel withdraws from the occupied lands, he said.
