Following the intensification of protests to the extension of the US and Afghanistan’s military and strategic ties, Afghanistan’s National Congress party issued a statement in opposition to the establishment of a permanent US base in Afghanistan.
The statement reads that such a measure would endanger regional peace and stability and this party calls for the legalization of the military presence of foreign countries in the framework of accepted international norms and Afghanistan’s ideological, traditional and national values. |
