Wednesday, 20 April, 5:50am: A PRCS ambulance was stopped and denied access by the Israeli soldiers at Al Tuffah checkpoint while on route to transport a woman who was six months pregnant and in critical condition, to hospital. The woman was hemorrhaging and the crew tried to explain the urgency to reach the hospital, but the soldiers ignored their plea for access. One hour later the woman delivered a stillbirth baby in the ambulance. A second PRCS ambulance arrived at the opposite side of the checkpoint. The soldiers permitted a back to back transfer and the woman was transferred to hospital.
