The Organization of Journalists Without Frontiers, held the US responsible for killing dozens of journalists in Iraq.
According to AFP from Paris, Journalist Without Frontiers released a statement on Monday July 4 and called for an inquiry into the death of dozens of journalists killed in Iraq since April 2005.
The statement termed spring 2005 as a lethal spring for the Iraqi press and held the US army responsible for killing a large number of journalists in Iraq. It also called on the US administration to exert punishments for those responsible for the murder cases.
Meanwhile the international press institute based in the Austrian capital, Vienna announced that 23 journalists had been killed in Iraq in 2004 and nineteen others lost their lives in 2003 in that country.
