Belonging to the revolutionary generation of Islamic Iran which ignites the modern day’s worldwide heroic struggles against tyrannies, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s past postings and present promises tell his loves and cares of the grass roots. In the first days of office, his visits to the ulema in Qom and graves of the martyrs of the Islamic Revolution, and holding the first cabinet meeting in Mashhad indicate that he remembers the teachings of his faithful teachers. His humble and modest life style promises that he will follow the principles of government derived from Imam Ali (a.s.). Indeed, Dr. Ahmadinejad, in some ways, revives our memory of his predecessor President Mohammad Ali Rajai, the martyred president in the persistent days of the new-born genuine Islamic republic.

All in all, in this election, the great nation of Iran has reassured the world loud and clear about their faith, values and strength. It’s time for us to pray for the marching forward of the Islamic Republic of Iran under Dr. Ahmadinejad’s youthful leadership.
