Iran's Expediency Council Chairman Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani here on Friday October 28 praised the brave resistance of he oppressed Palestinian nation despite full support of global arrogance for the Zionist regime.
In first sermon of his Tehran Friday prayer, Hojatoleslam Rafsanjani commemorating the anniversary of the World Qods Day, said, "The Palestinians are the most oppressed nation in the world." He added, "No nation in the world has over past years been subjected to so much injustices and oppression as the Palestinians were. The Palestinian nation has never in history tasted the good taste of security and well being. This nation as experienced countless plots hatched by the Zionist regime, and tolerated sever pressure."
Referring to some of the barbaric, inhumane moves conducted by Israeli militants in occupied territories of the Palestinians in recent days in a bid to overshadow the International Qods Day, Rafsanjani said, "Israel should bear in mind that by continuing its massacre of Palestinians, and pursuing its suppressive polices it is fuelling the flames of Islamic resistance in Palestine and throughout world."
Interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran referred to the historical process of the global arrogance's moves in occupation of Palestine, deportation of its native residents and forcing the Jews to immigrate to that land from around the globe.
He said, "After the end of Word War II the United Nations appointed the British government as the guardian of Palestine, and today, the global arrogance is resorting to vast material and propagation means aimed at strengthening the foundations of the Zionist regime in sensitive Middle East region."
Hashemi Rafsanjani reiterated, "The US government alone has been assisting Israel 4.5 billion dollars annually, and still keeps donating that amount to the Zionists each year."
He reiterated, "The global arrogance and Europeans, resorting to vast scientific and financial assets, are after shaping up a very strong Zionist regime commissioned to exert its hegemony over the whole region's resorts, blocking the path for Islamic unity, and countering Islamic movements."
Interim Friday Prayer leader of Tehran referred to the endless oppression and tortures endured by the Palestinian nation in the course of the past years, adding, "The whole mankind should feel proud of the Palestinian nation's liberation struggles and brave resistance.
He added, "Brave resistance of the Palestinian nation is also the cornerstone of great movements of the Islamic World nations in confrontation with the global arrogance, and the Palestinian nation would eventually make the global arrogance kneel down."
Hashemi Rafsanjani focusing on various approaches adopted by Israel aimed at encountering the Palestinian nation, added, "Some analysts believe Israel would never yield to demands of the Palestinians, but we should assure them that relying on Grace of God, the masses of people can defeat the global arrogance."
He referred to the victory of the Islamic Revolution (of Iran) as the "beginning of the end for Israel" arguing, "Iran was an island of security for the global arrogance in this region and for backing up their supportive policies for Israel."
The interim Friday Prayer leader of Tehran asked the Western countries' leaders to study the status of the region and Palestine more painstakingly and carefully and rather than supporting the oppressors, back up justice, and the oppressed nations.
Hashemi Rafsanjani considered the nations' right to determine their own faith as "a natural right given to nations by God, that should by no means be denied."
The interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran referring to unrealized barbarian objectives of the Zionist regime in the region, arguing, "The Zionists' from Nile to Euphrates motto is now impossible with the establishment of a popular political system in Iraq, because the Iraqi nation is now moving against the policies of the United States and Israel."
Hashemi Rafsanjani considered the Zionist regime's retreat from Gaza Strip "A real retreat", arguing, "The Israelis in fact fled from Gaza, and it was a real retreat for them, similar to their retreat from southern parts of Lebanon and, there is serious pressure on them to pull their forces out of Shebaa Farms and some parts of the Golan heights, today."
The Interim Friday Prayer leader of Tehran referred to emergence of serious difference of opinion among various factions within the Israeli Parliament, adding, "Those quarrels are noteworthy and should be considered another defeat for Israel."
He added, "Those quarrels are deep-rooted, serious and a current reality in Israel today, where even the Israeli citizens do not enjoy equal social and economic rights."
Hashemi Rafsanjani considered the current negative immigration trend of the world Jews from Israel as another sign of the global arrogance's failure in establishment of an independent Zionist overnment, saying, "There are long queues of volunteers to immigrate from Israel to other countries inside Israel every day."
He said, "Other nations' alertness about the Palestinian issue is another significant reality of the day, since apartheid is no longer acceptable for world nations and this creates a real problem for Israeli leaders."
The head of country's Expediency Council referring to the Europeans' mottos in defense of the human rights and democracy, said, "The Europeans have not found an acceptable justification for their silence regarding serious violation of human rights in Palestine so far."
Hashemi Rafsanjani stressed on the need to differentiate between resistance and terrorism, arguing, "The people who fight to liberate their own occupied country should not be called terrorists."
The interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran focussing on certain countries' pressure over Syria and Lebanon in recent months, said, "Neither Israel's problems would be solved by exerting pressure over these two nations, nor the Golan Heights would be freed that way."
Referring to the Iranian nation's support for the Palestinian nation, he reiterated, "Iran's support for the Palestinians is hypothetical and we declare it without any reservation, but we furthermore offer medical services and cure the injured Palestinian victims."
He said that the policies of the global arrogance regarding Palestine are heading toward a total blockade.
The interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran considered the "main problem of the Iranian nation" the existence of the Zionist regime, adding, "We have no problems with the pious and real Jews, whom we fully respect."
Hashemi Rafsanjani in the end expressed hope that the Palestinian Muslim nation would in near future succeed to live in a peaceful and secure atmosphere side by side with the followers of other faiths.
He said, "If a referendum is to be held in Palestine the question to be asked would be whether the Palestinians wish to live in their own country, or not?"
Head of the Expediency Council concluded his remarks on Palestine arguing, "The Islamic Republic of Iran pursues the developments regarding Palestine painstakingly, and cares much about the Palestinian nation.
