Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said on Wednesday September 14 that God Almighty required man to make every effort to build a society in which justice prevails and oppression is rejected.

In a meeting with commanders of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), the Supreme Leader said that all are expected to take the right direction and observe piety and patience in dealing with hardship and respecting religious obligations.

Ayatollah Khamenei said that those who embark on campaign to fulfill obligations set by Almighty God, need to exercise sacrifice and devotion and above all exercise self-restraint in the face of material and earthly temptations.

Officials of the Islamic Republic more than any other people need to observe spiritual purity and morality, the Supreme Leader made it clear.

"In the era of peace and health when there is no ground for war situation, it is very difficult to pass examination of materialistic temptations. So, everyone should take care of moral values," the Supreme Leader said.

Prior to the Supreme Leader's remarks, IRGC Commander Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi reiterated IRGC's preparedness to defend the lofty aspirations of the Islamic Revolution.
