The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei said the problems faced by the Islamic nations is eminated from not putting the principles of the holy Quran into action, notably the prescriptions given on disavowing the enemies of God and Islam and added: "Unfortunately Muslim nations stay away from heavenly teachings, but yet the Islamic awareness is growing among Muslim communities".

Ayatollah Khamenei received a group of top Quranic reciters in Tehran Thursday October 6.

During the meeting, also attended by 45 international reciters from all over the world, the leader stressed on contemplation over the profound concepts of the holy Quran, faith, the purity of selfhood, and intimacy with the Quran and the teachings of the holy Quran as the secrets of relieving from earthly pains.

The leader referred to spreading the culture of the holy Quran's reciting as an attempt to bring the holy book and the people closer and said" today, thanks to the grace of God and the blessings of the (Islamic) revolution, the sounds of the Quran is spreading out all over the country and all people, specialy the youth and the youngsters should speed up the trend in the society through consideration on the verses of the Quran.
