
Translation of Quran lexicon to be published

First translation of the largest Persian lexicon of the holy Quran into Arabic language is to be published soon.
"Farhang-e Quran" (the lexicon of the holy Quran), has been published in Persian in 30 volumes.
According to Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad-Sadeq Yousefi-Moqaddam, head of the Center for Quran Culture and Teachings, affiliated to the Islamic Dissemination Office at Qom Islamic Seminary, the lexicon is one of the largest thematic dictionaries on the holy Quran.
"Writing the lexicon was initiated by the Expediency Council Chairman Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani and it was completed with the cooperation of Quranic researchers," he said, noting that it will be translated it into Arabic language to benefit a greater number of Muslims worldwide.
